I originally became interested in working for PMR after seeing a talk given by the Chief Executive of PMR, Richard Lucas, and was impressed with the vision and ideas that PMR had for the region. Following this meeting I was lucky enough to be given a role in the international sales department, where I was responsible for helping PMR to expand its client base outside of Poland, and was part of a sales team that doubled international revenues over a year and I was also closely involved in restructuring the department. Since then I've been given the opportunity to work in the Consulting department, where I will now be working on custom projects to allow the worlds largest firms to make the most of the exciting markets in Central and Eastern Europe. The best thing about working in PMR is undoubtedly the atmosphere - young, dynamic, friendly and international. Yes, we work hard here, but there is also an emphasis on enjoying being in the work place. We believe that people work better when they are happy and have a focus outside of work too, which is why we organise work events such as go-karting, cinema trips and sports, just to mention a few! Additionally PMR has lots of opportunities for new challenges for ambitious people, for example PMR gave me the training and opportunity to work in the Consulting team. My work at PMR has been a constant thread of many challenges and self-improvement. During these four years I worked as an Analyst and later as a Senior Economist engaged in issues related to the markets of Central and Eastern Europe.
