Due to the recent flood, PMR organised a collection for the people most severely affected by it, who lost everything they worked for and had in life. Over only a few days we managed to collect a large number of household cleaning products, long lasting food, bottled water, clothes, shoes, basic cosmetics etc. All the donations were then delivered to the Polish Red Cross. The representatives were very happy and grateful for the support that is and will be needed for a long time.

PMR employees, inspired by the spring time and Easter, decided to organize another collection for kids in Zespó³ Placówek Opiekuńczo - Wychowawczych in Krakow. During one week we managed to gather a large number of clothing as well as household cleaning products. After going through the contents of our wardrobes, we brought shirts, trousers, skirts, t-shirts, shoes and many other clothing items which were later delivered to the charity establishment we already supported on previous occassions. The Director of the establishment was very grateful and touched by our gesture saying that ‘clothing is exactly what our pupils needed the most during that time.

PMR helps children in need: the U Siemachy Association click here »

Once again PMR had a chance to help children in need. This time we collected money for the U Siemachy Association, a non-governmental, non-for-profit organization helping young people in dire straits by providing them with material, psychological and educational support.
PMR decided to offer this Association twice the amount of money that employees would have collected. So, for every PLN 1 that we donated, PMR gave PLN 2 more. It was also decided that, instead of just giving the money directly, we would have bought some of the tools and supplies required to equip their Art Room.
On 2 June Karolina S., Ania C. and Marek visited the U Siemachy association. Thanks to your support, we managed to bring there many things that the kids will need in their art room (watercolours, poster paints, water-soluble paints, crayons, pastel sticks, etc.), in addition to 10 dictionaries that will help the kids in learning English.
During that meeting, Marek Lorek as a special guest performed a 50-minute magic show. All the children (mostly from 3 to 18 years old) , as well as the tutors, really enjoyed Marek's magic performance. Some of them, especially a young 5-year-old girl and couple of little boys were really enthusiastic about his tricks and surrounded Marek after the show came to an end.
According to what we could experience at U Siemachy, we strongly believe the children will make good use of our gifts and their "paintings" will be more colourful and even more joyful!
Many thanks to all those who contributed to make this happen!!!

PMR helps to fulfill children's wishes: Mam Marzenie click here »

Mam Marzenie is a non-profit organization which is granting wishes to Polish children who suffer from life threatening conditions. This foundation through granting dreams brings children and their families memorable moments, puts joy into their lives and helps them battle with disease and have hope. Foundation Mam marzenie is active throughout Poland and cooperates with any clinic involved with the treatment of children. Around 2000 children have so far received the unusual moral support and had a dream fulfilled and the number is still growing.
PMR has contributed to the realisation of many children’s dreams through regularly donating money. With this kind of help every month we can give a hand to kids and make their dream come true.
We would like to thank all who have actively become involved in assisting these children. Without their good will these special moments of sharing and happiness would not be possible.

Once upon a time in Krakow, two girls from PMR transformed into Santa Clauses and started organizing donations for Zespó³ Placówek Opiekuńczo - Wychowawczych - a children's home in Krakow.
Thanks to help from PMR's dedicated and generous team of Elves, 46 children received wonderful Christmas gifts, when they would ordinarily have had nothing.
On 20 December, PMR's Santa Clauses were then invited to a Christmas Party organised by the charity, where they had the opportunity to see the children playing in the Christmas Show and to join in singing beautiful Christmas carols.

Although the action started with just a couple of volunteers and only one family, in only a week we managed to get almost all the employees involved and ended up with huge parcels for three families. There were household cleaning products, cosmetics, dry food, food cans, and lots of sweets in each of the parcels. The families received also additional products they needed, such as: shoes, school notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, a baby doll, a funny book, pillows and quilts. I would like to thank you all for joining this beautiful action. The products that you brought made the parcels look really impressive. I would also like to thank Richard and Karol for their decision to get the PMR involved and contribute extra money to fill in the product gaps. Also Magda MG, Gosia M. and Marcin S. deserve special thanks for spending their time and effort to transport the huge parcels to the warehouses.
