Entrepreneurship Day at Inkubator Technologiczny KPT organised as part
of Global Entrepreneurship Week
Entrepreneurship Day at Inkubator Technologiczny took place on 21 November at Krakow Technology Park.
The meeting was well-attended and was organised in cooperation with Centrum Innowacji, Transferu Technologii i Rozwoju Uniwersytetu (CITRU) and Malopolska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego (MARR). Richard Lucas, business guru and chairman of the research and consultancy company PMR, appeared as a special guest and led a workshop on the subject of being an entrepreneur in Krakow.
Representatives of the CITTRU presented a new project: “The Entrepreneurship School”, and the MARR presented the “Support and promotion of entrepreneurship and self-employment” project. During the final part of the meeting participants were provided with general information about Inkubator Technologiczny, and all of those interested had a chance to meet companies operating within Inkubator and talk to their representatives. The event attracted great interest, not least from young people. In the meeting with Richard Lucas guests from and (from the Portugese CENFIM training centre and the Spanish company Skill Estrategia) took part.
Informal discussions and talks lasted long after the official part of the event.
Dr Slawomir Kopec, the KPT chairman, expressed hope that Entrepreneurship Day at Inkubator Technologiczny KPT would become a regular event and provide a permanent venue for meetings for young people eager to become entrepreneurs.
